Oak Center

The Oak Center Project Area is one of the original project areas established in Oakland. Located in West Oakland, the purpose of the project area was mainly to rehabilitate a number of old Victorian homes, and raze those that were not able to be rehabilitated. The project area plan is essentially complete. Currently the community is working to establish the district as a historic district.
