Coliseum
The Coliseum Project Area is by far the largest-sized redevelopment area in the city. It incorporates areas associated with Network Associates Coliseum, the Oakland Airport, the commercial corridor along International Blvd., and most of the city's industrial land along the estuary. While this redevelopment area is relatively new (created in 1995), there has been a significant amount of activity in this area, second only to the Central District. Much of this activity has been focused around the airport and surrounding areas, the Coliseum, and the Fruitvale Transit Station.
